Randall Conners will play solo saxophone during diner time...
Randall was born on july 28 1967 in Detroit Michigan.
He began playing music in school at the age of 10 and went right to the top of the class. He outgrew his school band and went to the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy for his last two years of hight school where he studied with Dr. Frederick L Hemke, wich started him on his way toward musical virtuosy. After Interlochen, he continued to The New England Conservatory of Music where he was playing music with much of the faculty and graduated with a Bachelors of Music Degree with Academy Honors and a distinction in performance. While there he met Cecil McBee the world famous bassist who is on the faculty and agreed to record with Randall on his first CD along with James Williams on piano and Billy Hart on drums entitled "The Randall Conners Quartet". At the same time Randall joined "The Cecil McBee Band" enjoying concerts in New York City at many of the biggest Jazz Clubs as well as the Ottawa Jazz Festival in Ottawa Canada. Beginning in 1996 Cecil' s CD entitled "Unspoken" where Randall is featured extensively.
In 1997 Randall moved to Japan to begin a full time teaching position at Kobe's Koyo Conservatory (a college level music conservatory) and continues to teach Jazz Music there. In 1999 Randall's second CD "Like Somethings" was released.
Throught the years Randall has performed and recorded with many prominent Jazz musicians such as Dave Weckl, Kenwood Denard, Matt Wilson, Miles Evens , Bob Moses, David Liebman, Mike Stern, Tiger Okoshi, Yosuke Yamashita, to name a few.

Thought not internationally recognized as of yet,Randall's talent is so great that in my opinion it is merely a matter of time before this will occur."-David Liebman
